The Combo Power House, consists of our model Buddy 120W mono tube amp, x2, and our model Aretha MKII tone control preamp, with or without the phono preamp option.
This combo system is for the serious audiophile who is looking for a powerful vacuum tube stereo system, just make sure you have speakers that can handle this power!
Model Aretha MKII will come standard with 4 input selection, tone controls, balance control and a 59 step precision attenuator.
Prices below are for a stock standard Aretha with no options.
If you want other options, please refer to the Aretha MKII page for pricing and details of offered options.
Model Buddy will come standard with Lundahl LL3723/PP OPT's, giving 4 and 8 OHM speaker outputs, and our own design power transformer custom made for us by Heyboer Transformers.
As with all our builds, you will have a choice of chassis woods, as well as plate colors, standard are black or silver top and front plates.
Our standard 24 months warranty applies to the preamp and amp, 6 months on the tubes.
Build time for this combo system will be around 8 weeks or so.
For those who prefer to have XLR in and outputs for both the Aretha and Buddy, we have also included pricing for this option below.
NOTE: Aretha XLR does not have the phono preamp option available. If you want a phono preamp as well, please check out our model Callisto high end stand alone phono preamp, click here.
