At this ungodly hour posting the final documents of my build. I can guarantee that there will be something missing or wrong .
Now off to the work bench.

Drum Roll, Ta-Da!:

The assembly of the Preamp is complete except for the front panel, Knobs and rear label.

As I was assembling the unit I found numerous mistakes (I I new I would) like swapping Left and Right wiring and one big blunder: I totally screwed up the Blend control wiring. I don't know how it got this far before catching the mistake, but while wiring it something seemed wrong and sure enough it was. Here are the final pictures:

It is a very fun project. Just take your time. I finished mine a couple of years ago. I dont think I took any pictures of the inside, but here is what it looks from the outside.

Here's an update on my progress. Closing in on finishing the project unless Erhard comes up with a filter mod and I am ready with the changes I will have to make to incorporate it.
1st up: I noticed that I had not posted the RevC Diagram:






Up next is my $160.00 blunder. My 1st design using Front Panel Designer and when it came in I had thought I check everything.



This time before I order, I will be doing a triple check



Finally is the rear label. It was done on Avery's Label designer. I have ordered Glossy White and Glossy Gold Film label sheets.



Nothing is casted in stone, any suggestions would be welcomed.

Well This is the "Almost" finished product. Some tweaks to the front panel may be done in the future like lower and move to right the "Dynakit Stereophonic Preamplifier" text and if there is another mod that comes out that would effect the panel.



Working on several different real panel label designs

Now I need to find a cabinet maker that won't break the bank.

Looks very nice. I do like the black face plate. It would go very nicely with some exotic wood. But most importantly is how it sounds.

Here is the back label. I made several different colors: Black Ink on Glossy Gold Foil, Back lettering on Gloss White, Blue and Orange lettering on Gloss Black and the one I finally picked was Black, Blue and Orange on Glossy Silver foil If the back plate was black then the other labels would look sharp.



I went back and looked at the invoice from Dynakitparts for the chassis and cover and the order was placed on 12-16-14. So it can't be said I rushed this project
