Avaliable current for the 12v pilot light
Avaliable current for the 12v pilot light
What is the avaliable current for the 12v pilot lamp? I was planning on using the 12v connection to power a couple VU Meters and the driver board. Maybe .5A max.

apologies, I was referring to the wrong power supply with my first reply, so to reduce confusion, I deleted my first reply.
The power transformer current rating for the 12V side of the regulated power supply/transformer is around 1.6A, so you should be fine with those VU meter bulbs.
Are you planning to tap the 12V for the VU meter bulbs from the 12VAC side, as this is the only 12V source available, be it AC. The DC side is regulated 24V.
You could put the two VU meter bulbs in series if you prefer to use the regulated 24VDC. In that case, due to the higher current draw of the added VU meter bulbs, the 24V regulated supply heat sink will get a bit warmer, but will still be OK.

Yes, the 12v AC connection. The meter board and both meter lamps draw .5A. AC voltage needed to power the meters is 9v-12v AC. 9v being optimal, so I'll most likely add a 6 ohm or so dropping resistor.

sounds good.
