The design of this EQ was inspired by the classic Blonder Tongue Audio Baton B-9 EQ of the late 50's, with 9 octaves per channel, EQ bypass and attenuator.
The frequencies are 40Hz, 80Hz, 160Hz, 320Hz, 640Hz, 1.28KHz, 2.56KHz, 5.12KHz and 10.24KHz.
For each channel, Natalie uses five 12AX7 tubes in the EQ circuit plus a 6X4 rectifier tube in the power supply.
All components are mounted on one single pcb per channel and powered by our own designed custom made power transformer by Heyboer Transformers.
Housed in an all metal 3U high custom made chassis or a Hammond 'off the shelve' RMC series rack chassis, Natalie can be built with or without rack mounting holes.
Natalies performance is outstanding and will add to any serious system setup where fine tuning is desired.
Natalie is a perfect addition to a home stereo system or in a recording studio.
If you prefer to have a mono version of Natalie, we can also build that for you. This version is only available in the Hammond RMC series chassis, see drawing at bottom of page.
Please contact us for pricing and other details for a mono version of Natalie.
